ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior/Lead React Native Engineer to own the architecture, release process, and long-term technical health of a reader mobile application built with React Native and distributed via Expo and EAS. You will improve and maintain CI/CD and build automation workflows, manage App Store and Google Play releases, evaluate and implement architectural improvements, and establish engineering best practices through code reviews.
This is a platform-focused role prioritizing maintainability, release predictability, and developer experience over feature velocity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Own the technical architecture of the React Native application
Improve and maintain the Expo/EAS build and release pipeline
Manage App Store and Google Play releases
Improve CI/CD, build automation, and deployment workflows
Evaluate and implement architectural improvements as the application evolves




Improve application performance, stability, and maintainability
Review pull requests and help establish engineering best practices

Occasionally implement new product features when architectural work requires it

MUST HAVES

4+ years of experience with React Native in production
Extensive experience with Expo and EAS Build/Update
Deep understanding of iOS and Android release processes
Familiarity with Type Script
Experience with push notification patterns and architecture
Experience with offline reading experiences and caching behaviors
Comfortable diagnosing native build issues and dependency conflicts

Experience shipping and maintaining apps through the Apple App Store and Google Play

NICE TO HAVES

Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring
Experience working alongside modern React web applications

Experience with CI/CD systems such as Git Hub Actions
