Description: Maintain, debug, and enhance a legacy Progress Open

Edge application.

Develop and execute unit tests to prevent regressions and ensure code quality.

Design and implement solutions following established SDLC practices and team patterns.

Conduct integration testing and support software releases and validation.

Participate in code and design reviews and produce clear technical documentation.

Support incident resolution, production support, and blameless post-incident reviews.

Collaborate with peers to develop reusable code modules and patterns.

Mentor and assist junior team members with assignments and technical understanding.

Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in a professional software engineering or similar role.

Strong proficiency developing applications using Progress Open

Edge.

Strong knowledge of SQL databases and SQL database management systems.





Experience conducting unit tests using unit testing methodologies and best practices.

Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience with team technologies such as C#, Java

Script/Type

Script, Python, Angular, or AWS.

Experience conducting integration tests and assisting with software releases and ongoing support.

Familiarity with Agile practices, including user stories, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (preferred).

Experience developing software modules or patterns for reuse (nice to have).

Experience developing for a cloud environment or holding an AWS cloud provider certification (nice to have).

Experience supporting CI/CD (nice to have).
