We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership, and can confidently manage multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously. The adecuado candidate has exceptional English communication skills, a proven track record of long-term tenure with previous employers, and hands-on experience supporting multiple U.S. GAAP clients within blue-collar and service-based industries such as construction, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, and other field-service businesses. This person is highly organized, client-facing, proactive, and capable of translating complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable insights for business owners.

What You'll Do Client Accounting Management

- Own month-end close processes across multiple client accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all accounting functions.

Payroll & Compliance

- Process payroll and employee onboarding within payroll systems.
- Manage and submit U.S. state sales tax filings.
- Maintain compliance with client-specific accounting requirements and deadlines.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

- Build custom reports and dashboards for business owners.
- Analyze financial performance and identify trends.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning initiatives.
- Present financial insights in a clear and actionable manner.

Process Improvement





- Document accounting processes and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Help standardize procedures across multiple client engagements.

Founder Collaboration

- Participate in daily check-ins with company leadership.
- Prioritize tasks independently and proactively communicate progress.
- Operate with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Required Experience

- 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience.
- Experience managing accounting for multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience supporting businesses in service-based industries such as construction, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, roofing, home services, or related sectors.
- Proven history of long-term employment (3+ years with previous employers preferred).
- Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to confidently discuss accounting concepts with U.S. business owners.
