About the Role

As an English Teacher at Inmersio, you'll deliver 1-on-1 online classes tailored to each student's level, goals, and personality — not a fixed group curriculum. Because every class is one-on-one, you'll build real rapport with your students and adapt in real time, rather than teaching to a syllabus. Classes are speaking-emphasized: grammar and writing are assigned as homework, so class time stays focused on real conversation, correction, and confidence-building.

Bilingual (English/Spanish)



teachers are especially valued — sharing a language with beginner students makes it easier to build trust early, explain concepts clearly, and keep students motivated through their first few classes, which is often when they need the most support.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, personalized 1-on-1 English classes online, adapting in real time to each student's level and goals
- Prepare and adjust lesson content per student, not a fixed group syllabus
- Prioritize spoken communication in class, using real-life scenarios relevant to the student's work or life
- Assess progress and give clear, constructive, encouraging feedback
- Build genuine rapport with students to keep them engaged over time
- Create a supportive, judgment-free space where students feel comfortable making mistakes out loud

Qualifications
- Strong English teaching experience, with learners at different levels
