You'll drive DTC brand growth by crafting scroll-stopping short-form video ads for premium craft products.

Compensation:

USD 2K/month

+ Bonuses (up to 200% of base compensation)

- You are an expert in Video editing.
- You are proficient in Voice-over, Hooks, Color grading, Adobe After Effects.

Responsibilities and more:

Sierra Yarn is a DTC brand selling premium Peruvian alpaca and cotton yarn and knitting kits to hand-knitters and crocheters in the US. We’re looking for a short-form video editor who can turn raw UGC, product footage, and finished-project shots into scroll-stopping Meta and TikTok ads. This is paid social ad creative, not long-form tutorials.



If you’ve edited ads that actually ran and converted for a DTC brand, and you can make cozy, tactile, craft-focused footage feel premium and desirable, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do:

• Edit short-form ads (6 to 60 sec) for Meta and TikTok from UGC, product, and finished-knit footage

• Build hooks that grab knitters and crocheters in the first 3 seconds

• Add captions, b-roll, motion, and sound design that fits a warm, premium craft brand

• Iterate fast on hook and angle variations for testing

• Work from briefs and creative direction with quick turnaround

Requirements:

• Proven DTC ecommerce ad editing experience

• Fluent in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut, After Effects a plus

• Understands direct response: hooks, retention, CTA

• Fast turnaround, comfortable with high-volume iteration

• Portfolio of ads that ran on paid social
