Responsibilities and Requirements
- Working technical knowledge to address service work orders for PCs, laptops, cabling, televisions, projectors, phones, peripherals and site security equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (e.g. reporting), with the ability to run workshops for information collation.
- Works on projects of moderately medium‑complex scope, and able to work with intercompany teams.
- Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures.
- Assist with support of datacenter and application architecture.
- Assist with troubleshooting basic network issues and understands the administration of switches, routers, and firewalls with the assistance of the Nutanix Remote Resolver Team.
- Knowledge of backup, tape, and exchange infrastructures.
- Typically 2–5 years of experience.
- Ability to assist with configuring routers and switches under the guidance of the Nutanix Remote Resolver Team.
- Assist with the integration and customization of hardware components on operating systems and networks.
- Tech will complete a 1‑hour online training.
