Account Manager Role Responsibilities
- Grow current customer accounts and foster long‑standing business relationships across academia, pharma, and biotech in the U.S. region.




- Increase sales within the designated territory and act as the primary point of contact for existing customers.
- Communicate with clients via email, phone, video call, webinar, and virtual product shows or conferences to promote VectorBuilder offerings.
- Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional services.
- Cultivate strong, long‑lasting client relationships and collaborate with sales representatives from other territories to share best practices.
- Demonstrate strong product and service knowledge and provide high‑level technical support and guidance.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as needed within the role.

Qualifications
- Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field (Ph.D. highly preferred).
- High self‑motivation, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
