Product Designer As a Product Designer at DEPT®, you will work across the entire design spectrum—UX, UI, and visual craft—to create engaging, effective digital products.
You will bridge user needs and business goals, ensuring each feature delivers measurable value end‐to‐end.
Responsibilities Own the full design lifecycle, from discovery and user journey mapping to high‐fidelity execution and post‐launch iteration.
Define and refine sophisticated UI designs and interaction patterns that make complex tasks feel effortless and engaging.
Collaborate deeply with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, providing clear documentation and participating in the hand‐off process to maintain design integrity.
Take a holistic view of the product to maintain a cohesive experience across all features and platforms, contributing to and evolving our design system.
Act as a guardian of the design system, maintaining rigorous consistency across all features and platforms to build a unified brand experience.
Synthesize user research and business data into actionable design strategies that drive product growth.
Articulate design rationale to executive stakeholders and advocate for user‐centric solutions.
Research and propose strategic improvements that support both personal and company‐wide growth.
Qualifications All experience levels are considered.
Bachelor's degree in Human‐Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Uncompromising eye for detail with mastery of layout, typography, and motion to create polished, high‐fidelity interfaces.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates the user‐centered design process and includes prototypes of varying fidelity as well as UI/visual design capabilities.
Strong grasp of Figma with a solid understanding of industry standards and features.
Experience designing a variety of UX artifacts—including personas, user journeys, prototypes, presentations, and UI mock‐ups.
Demonstrated ability to work within and contribute to complex design systems, ensuring scalability and cross‐platform consistency.
Understanding of modern front‐end capabilities and a history of collaborating with engineering to deliver technically feasible, performant designs.
Proactive, self‐starting mentality with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and pivot based on shifting business requirements.
Language & Communication Fluency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as you will collaborate with international team members.
