Role Summary:
A Machine Operator will maintain and operate a variety of machines and equipment, including hand tools, to carry out routine tasks. This position is also responsible for installation, visual inspection, and set up of machines and equipment within expected quality and safety guidelines. The machines and equipment may be manual, or computerized.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain machines and equipment.
Use hand tools. Move materials and parts to and from work areas using forklifts and lift trucks.
Ensure smooth production flow.
Participate in solving technological and production problems.
Comply with established guidelines and procedures.
Comply with all safety procedures and policies.
Other assigned tasks.
Requirements:




Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
Basic knowledge of mathematics applied to the workshop.
Ability to read and follow roadmaps/blueprints.
Ability to train new machine operators.
High level of organizational skills.
Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or similar environment.
Self-motivated.
Experience in machining or a similar field.
Experience in the use and interpretation of precision measuring instruments.
Basic computer skills.
High school diploma/GED and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
