The Compensation & Benefits Senior Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing compensation and benefits programs that are aligned with the strategic goals of the pharmaceutical company in Argentina. This professional must adopt a comprehensive, strategic approach to ensure that compensation and benefits policies are competitive, equitable, and motivating, in order to attract, retain, and develop key talent within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compensation Design and Strategy:

- Develop and manage salary structures and incentive plans, aligned with industry best practices and internal policies.

- Analyze and recommend salary adjustments based on market trends, organizational performance, and local regulatory changes.

- Conduct periodic salary benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and internal equity, using relevant surveys and data sources.

- Benefits Management:

- Design, implement, and optimize employee benefit programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs) to support employee well-being and satisfaction.

- Ensure that benefits offerings are in compliance with local legislation and align with the company's culture and values.

- Evaluate and recommend new benefits initiatives to enhance employee experience and engagement.

- Market Research and Benchmarking:

- Perform market analysis and surveys to monitor compensation and benefits trends in the pharmaceutical industry and broader labor market in Argentina.

- Provide insights and recommendations on adjustments to compensation and benefits offerings based on competitive landscape and industry benchmarks.

- Strategic Advisory:

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, HR partners, and other key stakeholders on compensation and benefits matters.

- Collaborate with leadership to align compensation strategies with business goals, performance management, and talent retention strategies.





- Provide expert guidance on pay equity, regulatory compliance, and compensation best practices.

- Data Analytics and Reporting:

- Analyze and interpret compensation data to provide insights into trends, program effectiveness, and cost implications.

- Prepare regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

- Process Improvement:

- Continuously assess and improve the efficiency of compensation and benefits processes, recommending solutions for streamlining and enhancing the employee experience.

- Support the integration of new compensation and benefits programs during organizational changes or mergers/acquisitions.

- Employee Communication:

- Design communication strategies to ensure that employees understand and appreciate the value of compensation and benefits programs.

- Lead communication efforts for annual salary reviews, bonus plans, and open enrollment periods.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP) is a plus.

- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits practices in Argentina, including local labor laws and tax regulations.

- Proficiency in compensation analysis tools, HRIS systems, and Excel.

- Experience with salary surveys and benchmarking data sources.
