About The Role
The Disbursements team owns the systems that ensure every dollar we move arrives at its destination safely and efficiently. As we have scaled, the complexity of our payout engine has increased. We are looking for a product operations manager to own the execution layer.
This is a high‑ownership role for someone energized by operational rigor, data precision, and systematic execution. You will be the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and Business Operations, catching issues before they cost us, building processes that scale, and ensuring every new capability we ship lands cleanly.
Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end integration, testing, and validation of new payout rails. Manage the process from kickoff through launch, scoping features for engineering and communicating with external stakeholders, launching integrations quickly while maintaining quality.
- Proactively monitor payment rail status, track changes in provider availability and limits, and escape issues before they reach users.
- Lead operational response during outages, coordinate teams, pull impacted transactions, and drive the network back to steady state.
- After each new rail or feature ship, set up monitoring, surface issues to Product, and enhance quality of our product offerings.
- Own intake of short‑turnaround cross‑functional requests, scope the work, gather partner documentation, and make tickets engineering‑ready.
- Translate recurring processes into clean SOPs that enable faster incident response and eventual delegation to Operations.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in product ops, analytics, fintech, technology, or related experience.
- Advanced use of BI tools; strong analytical skills and SQL proficiency are a plus.
- Enthusiastic about process and precision, breaking complex problems into repeatable systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of product and engineering, reading technical design docs, asking questions about API contracts and system dependencies, and engaging in architecture discussions.
- Native or professional fluency in Spanish is required; high proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to lead without formal authority, building relationships and managing stakeholders across diverse departments and cultures.
- Bias for action: prefer a “done” project over a “perfect” plan and move with the urgency a hyper‑growth startup requires.
- Equivalents in any of the above are also considered.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Initial stock options grant
- Annual performance bonus
- Health, dental, and vision plans
- Remote work environment; optional hybrid if preferred.
- Continuous learning opportunities
- Unlimited PTO
- Paid parental leave
- Empowering growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
