Role Summary

Aditi is transforming how it delivers software — from traditional services toward AI-native, outcome-driven engineering. We are hiring a hands-on Senior Engineering Leader / Architect to serve as the senior technical anchor for the engineering discipline within the Combined Technology Practice. This is a building role, not a management layer.

The person in it writes code, owns architecture, leads engagements technically, and raises the engineering discipline toward AI-native delivery — while staying in the work, not above it. They are the engineer other engineers look to, and the technical voice clients trust in the room. This role is deliberately not a re-creation of a traditional practice-head position.

Aditi is building leaner, capability-led teams where senior technical leaders anchor delivery directly and the practice organizes beneath their credibility — not around management hierarchy.

Why This Role Exists

Aditi's engineering practice needs a senior technical leader who can do two things at once: deliver at a high bar on real client engagements today (2.0), and lead the discipline's shift toward AI-native ways of building tomorrow (3.0). Most senior engineers can do one or the other. This role requires both — deep, current, hands-on engineering craft and genuine fluency in agentic and AI-assisted development.

This person helps set the technical standard the rest of the engineering practice grows toward.

Key Responsibilities

- Own architecture and technical direction on client engagements — and stay in the code: review, build, and unblock, not just direct
- Set and enforce engineering standards, patterns, and quality bars across the practice
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex delivery problems




- Serve as the credible senior technical voice in client conversations — able to design, defend, and demo AI-native engineering capability (3.0)
- Lead the engineering discipline's adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development — LLM-driven engineering, AI-accelerated delivery patterns, human-in-the-loop execution
- Build and contribute to Aditi's internal AI engineering assets and solution-pack delivery (e.g., agentic platforms, code-intelligence tooling)
- Translate the AI-native vision into concrete, repeatable engineering practice — the "how" of delivering AI-bounded projects
- Raise the AI fluency of the wider engineering team through direct, hands-on mentorship

Discipline leadership (capability, not hierarchy)

- Anchor engineering as a service — the senior credibility the practice organizes beneath
- Mentor and level up engineers toward 2.0→3.0 fitment
- Support pursuits and solutioning with senior technical depth
- Contribute to the Engineer 3.0 capability-building effort

Required Experience & Skills

- 12+ years in software engineering with a strong, current, hands-on track record — this is not a role for someone who has moved fully into management
- Deep architecture experience across modern stacks (cloud-native, microservices, APIs, distributed systems)
- Demonstrable AI-native engineering capability: LLM-assisted development, agentic systems, AI-accelerated delivery — real hands-on work, not oversight of others' AI work
- Proven ability to lead engagements technically and set engineering standards at scale
- Strong delivery track record for enterprise / demanding clients
- Credible and articulate with senior client stakeholders — can hold a technical room
- A builder's disposition: leads by doing, mentors by pairing, earns authority through craft
