Preferred Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with postgraduate studies in taxes
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax areas in Argentina
- Strong knowledge of Argentinian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across departments
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing team members

What you will be doing





- Oversee and manage all tax compliance and reporting for Argentina and other Latin American country operations, ensuring adherence to local regulations and deadlines
- Monitor changes in tax legislation across Argentina and other Latin American countries and evaluate their impact on the business
- Establish clear internal timelines and processes to ensure all filings are submitted on time and payments are made on schedule
- Advise on the tax implications of business decisions and structures, identifying potential tax incentives, and provide tax advice to other departments such as finance and legal
- Act as the primary point of contact with tax authorities
- Continuously evaluate and improve tax compliance processes, identify inefficiencies, potential errors, or areas of risk, and update documentation in response to changes in legislation or operations
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth, and develop junior staff to build effective succession plans
