About the Role
An established U.S. public accounting firm is looking to add a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to its team. This role supports a U.S.-based client and requires working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules

- Record and review adjusting journal entries

- Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns

- Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information

- Support month-end and year-end close processes

- Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off

Qualifications

- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally supporting U.S.-based clients

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field





- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general tax preparation concepts

- Strong written and spoken English

- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

- Able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours
