About The Role

We’re looking for an Accounting Services Manager with strong accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals who can independently manage a portfolio of SMB clients. You'll own the client relationship, oversee full-cycle accounting,



and work alongside a dedicated bookkeeper to ensure accurate financials and excellent service.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized business clients.
Perform month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and working papers.
Handle GST/HST and sales tax filings accurately and on time.
Review financial statements and explain results to clients.
Maintain and optimize accounting and fintech integrations.
Collaborate with a supporting bookkeeper to ensure clean and timely books.
Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and workflows.

Requirements

Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience.
Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Xero.
Experience with bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue, and fixed assets.
Familiarity with fintech tools such as Stripe, Dext, Plooto, Ramp, or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
