About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization while driving the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions.

This role is adecuado for a proven engineering leader who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional people management skills. You will be responsible for guiding engineering teams, shaping technical strategy, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing software engineering team
- Establish a culture of accountability, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Define engineering standards, best practices, and development workflows
- Provide technical leadership across architecture, system design, implementation, and release planning
- Review and validate technical decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Partner closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to align engineering execution with company priorities
- Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions
- Drive engineering execution, sprint planning, estimation, testing, and release processes
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Reduce technical debt while improving long-term platform health
- Promote secure software development practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Support hiring, onboarding, team planning, and engineering capacity management




- Foster strong collaboration across Engineering, Product, Design, and Operations teams

What We’re Looking For

Engineering Leadership

- Proven experience leading and scaling software engineering teams
- Strong people management, mentoring, and coaching skills
- Experience building high-performing engineering cultures
- Ability to establish accountability, quality standards, and execution discipline

Technical Leadership

- Strong hands-on software engineering background
- Experience with software architecture, system design, and enterprise application development
- Ability to review architecture and implementation decisions while guiding engineering teams
- Experience ensuring software quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Backend & Cloud Technologies

Strong experience with:

- Node.js and Type Script
- PostgreSQL and MongoDB (DocumentDB)
- Redis (Elasti Cache)
- AWS cloud services
- Kubernetes (EKS)
- Docker and Amazon ECR
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
- CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub Actions and ArgoCD
- Amazon S3 and Cloud Front

Frontend Technologies

Familiarity with modern frontend development, including:

- React
- Next.js
- Astro
- Tailwind CSS
- shadcn/ui

Engineering Practices

- Experience with API design and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Experience with Prisma ORM and database migrations
- Strong understanding of Dev Ops, testing, monitoring, and production support
- Experience working in Agile development environments




- Ability to establish engineering standards, code quality, documentation, and development workflows

Integrations & Enterprise Systems

Experience working with third-party platforms and integrations such as:

- Twilio
- Send Grid
- Hub Spot
- Google Analytics
- Celigo
- Net Suite

Security & Enterprise Development

- Strong understanding of secure software development practices
- Experience with authentication, authorization, API security, data protection, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with enterprise software delivery and release readiness

Product & Business Partnership

- Experience working closely with Product Managers, Design teams, and business stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing technical debt, engineering roadmaps, and delivery processes

AI & Modern Development

- Experience using AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, Claude, Codex, or similar) to improve engineering productivity
- Ability to review, validate, and guide AI-assisted code generation while maintaining engineering quality

Nice to have

- Experience launching enterprise software products
- Strong strategic thinking and organizational leadership
- Ability to drive engineering transformation and process improvements
- Experience working in fast-paced product organizations
- Passion for mentoring engineers and developing future leaders
