At Possumus, we are looking for a Semi-Senior iOS Developer to join a mobile development project for an important retail company in Chile. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain native applications for Apple devices, participating throughout the entire development lifecycle from technical design and feature implementation to testing, maintenance and App Store release. What you will be doing Develop new features using Swift and the iOS SDK. Build reusable components across different modules. Refactor existing code to improve architecture, readability and performance. Diagnose and resolve bugs in development and production environments. Integrate iOS applications with backend services through REST APIs. Collaborate with UX/UI, QA, backend and Dev Ops teams. Contribute to technical decisions and support junior team members. Focus on simple, scalable and maintainable solutions. Minimum Requirements3.5+ years of experience as an iOS Developer. Advanced knowledge of Swift. Solid experience with the iOS SDK and Xcode. Experience supporting different iOS versions and screen sizes. Strong knowledge of UIKit and iOS UI design best practices. Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services. Experience managing dependencies with Cocoa Pods. Advanced knowledge of Automatic Reference Counting (ARC). Familiarity with Combine, RxSwift or Async/Await. Experience with Alamofire or URLSession. Knowledge of Core Data, Realm or SQLite. Experience with Xcode, Instruments and Test Flight. Familiarity with XCTest, Nimble, Quick or mocking frameworks. Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON and Apple Push Notification Service. Knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID principles and design patterns. Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. Basic English level. Nice to have Objective-C for legacy code integration. Swift Concurrency. SwiftUI.
