Position: Principal, Art Director DEPT® is a Growth Invention company focused on technology and marketing. In this role you will lead creative strategy, design, and production for high-visibility accounts while mentoring a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Buenos Aires (Villa Crespo or Mar del Plata) – Hybrid; work in EST hours.
Responsibilities - Deliver high-impact digital creative across social and video, with emphasis on visual storytelling and performance.
- Act as a direct supervisor and mentor to junior and mid-level Art Directors and Designers, providing clear, constructive feedback to elevate the team's output.
- Support video and content production: help with pre‑production planning, on‑set shoots, and post‑production collaboration with editors and designers.
- Partner with copywriters, strategists, producers, project managers, and client teams to ensure creative aligns with brief goals, brand voice, and business objectives.
- Own the creative execution from concept to final delivery, balancing strategic direction with hands‑on production and delegating appropriately to junior team members.
- Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities with the Creative Director’s support, providing proactive solutions through daily brainstorming and inspiration sharing.
- Foster an inclusive, high‑energy environment by leading daily brainstorming and inspiration sessions that keep the team’s creative pulse sharp.
Qualifications - 5+ years of visual design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, social‑first content, and video‑driven work.
- Prior social agency experience or a track record with high‑volume, high‑visibility accounts.
- Experience with on‑set and content production, collaborating with video directors, editors, and producers.
- Excellent client presentation and communication skills, able to confidently present ideas, receive feedback, and advocate for great creative.
- Strong design sensibility and strategic eye for layout, typography, motion, and branding; deep knowledge of social best practices for optimal performance.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset—adding energy to brainstorms, jumping in when needed, and supporting teammates with generosity and respect.
- Creative portfolio that demonstrates the ability to translate strategy into scroll‑stopping creative across digital, video, and other formats.

Requirements - Fluency in English (written and verbal) to communicate with international team members.
