We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team, responsible for building, optimizing and maintaining native Android applications with a modern tech stack centered around Kotlin, designing intuitive interfaces and robust backend integrations that provide a seamless mobile experience for users, while collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers and backend engineers to turn feature concepts into high-performing, reliable and scalable Android applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that adhere to Material Design guidelines
- Integrate with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic content and features to mobile users
- Write clean, maintainable and testable code
- Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high quality standards and share knowledge within the team
- Write unit and UI tests to ensure application stability
- Profile app performance to optimize speed, battery consumption and memory usage
- Assist in preparing and publishing application updates to the Google Play Store

Requirements





- 2+ years of experience in native Android application development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android SDK
- Understanding of modern Android architecture components and design patterns such as MVVM, MVI and Clean Architecture
- Knowledge of Dependency Injection with Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle and Git
- Experience with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts
- Experience with JUnit and Espresso for testing purposes
- Capability to work in an Agile/Scrum team environment and collaborate via tools like Jira and Confluence
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
