We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer to build and evolve AI-powered backend services for a production customer engagement platform. You will integrate cloud-native services and modern engineering practices, collaborate across functions, and help deliver reliable features at scale—apply now.

Responsibilities

Design backend services in Python that power AI-driven product capabilities

Build cloud-native services on AWS to support scalable production workloads

Develop REST APIs that integrate platform features with external and internal systems

Maintain and enhance existing C#/.NET components to ensure system stability

Implement AI-powered features and integrate them into production applications

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to protect availability and performance

Review code and contribute to technical design decisions and engineering standards

Collaborate with Product, QA, and Architecture stakeholders to deliver features

Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability through refactoring

Document technical solutions and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements

5+ years of commercial software development experience

Strong Python backend development experience (3+ years)

Working knowledge of C#/.NET for maintaining legacy services





Hands-on AWS Cloud experience building cloud-native applications

Solid REST API development experience for production systems

Strong SQL skills for querying and data troubleshooting

Experience with object-oriented design principles and design patterns

Code review and technical design experience in cross-functional teams

CI/CD workflow knowledge with source control practices

Agile development experience in iterative delivery

Clean Code mindset with attention to maintainability

Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

Availability to collaborate in a 9am–6pm EST work window
