As a member of our Project Execution team, you'll draw on your strengths managing people and processes to manage technology projects that typically span multiple lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You'll lead these projects from initiation through implementation, including: establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines; ensuring that relevant risk and architecture requirements are in place; and managing the project budget and resources. In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you'll communicate with stakeholders across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. While this role is rooted in project management,

The group (located across London, New York, Houston, Buenos Aires, and Mumbai) is responsible for the production, orchestration, capture, and feeding of Risk and PNL data to various aggregators across the CIB for T+1 analysis by the Commodities, Currencies and Emerging Markets business performing a critical control function in today's highly regulated environment. In addition, the group is responsible for the build out of the reporting and core business functionality in the Risk Central platform, the target-state aggregation and reporting platform for Risk and PNL across the Corporate Investment Bank.



Using technologies like Python, Scala, Hadoop, Kafka, and Spark, part of the teams remit is building a resilient high-capacity platform supporting the firm's business and regulatory agenda. On a typical day, end of day batches and real-time calculators feed billions of rows of data to the system, part of a modern application stack to serve the needs of numerous varied clients across the Investment Bank and Risk & Finance.



The role involves the using of financial markets concepts and software fundamentals, being able to recognize relevant workflows in their current and future states, the ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Risk Central onboarding for different Lines Of business, being able to multitask, coordinate, organize and communicate effectively, strong analytical and project management skills are necessary.



Qualifications:





- Ability to think analytically and quickly pick up new technical concepts

- Expertise in either any functional or object-oriented programming language

- Python, Java, or Scala preferred

- Fluent English is required

- Familiarity with databases and SQL

- Ability to reason about and work with distributed systems

- Knowledge of risk and PNL reporting is desirable but not required

- Familiarity with Spark, Impala, Kafka, and other Hadoop technologies is a plus
