Strategic Sourcing Analyst – Global Indirect, SG&A; & IT Spend
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst – Integral Indirect, SG&A; & IT Spend is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies across a broad portfolio of indirect, SG&A; and IT categories to deliver commercial value, cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk mitigation for Worldwide Clinical Trials. Key Responsibilities
Support global sourcing strategies across indirect and SG&A; as well as IT categories, including hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, telecom, IT services, professional services, corporate services, facilities, real‑estate, and marketing spend. Execute sourcing initiatives at global, regional, and local levels, balancing global leverage with regional flexibility. Analyze spend data to identify trends, risks and optimization opportunities; provide metrics for sourcing dashboards (cost savings, compliance, etc.). Conduct market benchmarking analyses to inform sourcing decisions. Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities including RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiation and award recommendation in line with category strategies. Identify cost savings, cost avoidance and value‑creation opportunities aligned with business and IT roadmaps. Support supplier rationalization and preferred/general supplier programs. Analyze global and regional spend data for cost savings, demand management and standardization. Manage end‑to‑end contract lifecycle including negotiation support, commercial term alignment, renewals, amendments and expirations.



Assist vendor management in supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution across indirect, SG&A; and IT categories. Serve as a trusted procurement partner to global and regional stakeholders; partner with IT leaders and functional owners to understand business needs and translate them into sourcing strategies. Educate stakeholders on sourcing processes, supplier options and contract considerations; drive adoption of procurement policies, tools and best practices across regions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Strong analytical, financial and problem‑solving skills; advanced Excel required. Solid understanding of indirect and SG&A; sourcing models (services, subscriptions, project‑based spend). Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones. Working knowledge of contract structures, supplier governance and risk management. Experience in a fast‑paced environment managing multiple priorities. BA/BS degree in Business, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or category management with indirect and SG&A; categories and IT spend.



Experience supporting or leading RFx events and analyzing supplier proposals. Strong understanding of IT sourcing models (SaaS, cloud, managed services, software licensing). Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated experience supporting integral or multi‑region sourcing initiatives. Experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare or life‑sciences environment preferred. Familiarity with contract terms related to corporate systems, software licenses, infrastructure, cybersecurity and IP. Professional certifications are a plus but not required. Travel
