The Presales Engineer
is tasked primarily to provide pre‐sales technical support to customers by identifying their requirements and designing a commercially viable solution from within the company's product portfolio. The role is responsible for supporting KL members of the sales team and channel partners in convincing customers about KL expertise and products, winning over competition, and performing POCs with positive feedback. The role is mostly concentrated on end customers but also involves channel support‐facing activities.
Responsibilities
Be the customer's technology strategy trusted advisor.
Ensure the selling strategy aligns with the technology strategy and meets customers' needs.
Establish and drive the strategic technology plan by tightly integrating customer priorities with Kaspersky Lab strategic capabilities and positioning the security vision across all customers.
Accelerate customer transition to the new product(s) by ensuring their infrastructure is ready and the strategic technology plan supports a smooth transition, clearing any technical blockers identified.
Drive the successful product deployment and adoption.
Provide technical support to customers.
Present KL brand, products,
and solutions at conferences and other events.
Adjust existing or develop new training and deliver it to educate channel partner teams on the full scope of KL solutions.
Provide coaching and professional development to technical teams of partners to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
Provide product knowledge and technical support to channel partners and channel team members.
Work closely with the territory channel team to identify gaps in technical education.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in cyber security presales management or 5+ years in cyber security technical positions.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
Certification in IT, security preferred.
Deep proven knowledge of EP, EDR, Anti‐APT, and threat intelligence technologies.
Experience interacting with end users, top executives, and managers.
Knowledge of competitors' solutions/portfolio.
Experience working with large scale projects and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
