Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Middle Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for a full‑time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a integral technology company specializing in self‑service payment solutions and digital customer engagement for the retail petroleum industry. The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) combines software development skills with expertise in testing and quality assurance. Responsibilities include developing and implementing test strategies, designing and writing automated test scripts, and ensuring the overall quality of software products. Responsibilities
Create test scenarios, identify defects, and automate specification files (specs). Participate in SAFe Scrum meetings and PI Planning. Write automation code and review developer code pull requests. Innovate and identify opportunities to improve built‑in quality. Qualifications
2+ years of experience in software testing. Expertise in backend automation (API testing, integration testing, performance testing). Knowledge of Zephyr Scale, Node.js, Mocha, AWS, and general AI tools. Understanding of various testing types (end‑to‑end, integration, UI, unit) and foundational quality terminology. Foundational programming knowledge (classes,



loops, variables, functions) and experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN. Expertise in defining and logging defects, creating test plans, and executing them. Experience using Jira and Confluence. Basic troubleshooting skills. Nice to Have
Familiarity with the oil and gas industry. Experience with SAFe. Benefits
