The role of the Sr.
Contract Analyst will be responsible for facilitating contracting including active contract review, analysis, redlining, negotiation.
It will be key for this individual to support collaboration across multiple locations with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Integral Process Owners, and other important cross-functional teams.
It will also be key for this individual to manage and handle escalations in the contracting process.Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Lead contract facilitation process for contractsServe as escalation point for approximately 5 Sourcing Excellence ("SE") contract facilitators for template questions, redlines to contract terms, and other process items.Support contract executions in a timely method with appropriate legal oversight to ensure compliance with company standardsCoordinate redlines and negotiation strategies with legal and other stakeholders as well as suppliers:Negotiate business terms and collaborate, coordinate and be able to explain risks and implications of contract terms to the business and other stakeholders.Complete gap analysis, review, redline and understand contract language, risks and implications of such language.Defend legal terms on standard internal templates, agreements and third-party paper where necessary.Collaborate with BMS Legal in its development, oversight and maintenance of relevant contract templates, fallback and guidanceIdentify points of escalation for Sourcing Excellence ('SE') to interface with Legal, and other relevant stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Audit, etc.,)



regarding contracting and Procurement policy and related operational questionsSupport continuous contracting capability within ProcurementParticipate in training for professional development and further expansion of contracting skillsetsEnsure thresholds and hand-offs between Business, Legal, and other involved parties are clear and well communicatedInteract with Internal/External Stakeholders:Procurement Functional LeadershipSourcing Excellence Functional Leads / TeamsBMS Legal TeamsQualifications:Legal training/qualification/experience could be a differentiator3 years of relevant experience including drafting, reviewing and negotiating procurement / business contracts, procurement negotiationsM&A; Support / Ops Analytics / Contracting Jr - A versatile, analytically strong junior profile that supports M&A; contracting activities, data extraction, and operational contract review tasks.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (Excel/Power BI/similar tools).
Internal stakeholder management, data/information management, project management and performance measurement skillsProcurement process knowledge, contract management, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier managementEffective communicator in explaining legal risks and their implications to both experts and laypersonsProficient in Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools such as Microsoft TeamsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrates ability to ask the right questions and use sound business judgementThe ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-moving environmentExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
