ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the long-term technical vision and strategy for a next-generation native Android applicationOwn the end-to-end architecture and implementation of complex features within a large and sophisticated mobile portalEstablish standards and best practices for integrating third-party libraries, services, and components into the Android appSet and enforce engineering excellence around Android Design Patterns, coding conventions, and Google's Design GuidelinesEnsure organization-wide compliance with Google Play Developer Program PoliciesLead initiatives to optimize networking, local data caching, and multitasking performance on Android at scaleChampion and evolve Agile processes across distributed teams composed of local and remote membersProvide strategic technical leadership, mentorship, and career development for the Android team and other engineering leadsAct as a key technical partner to stakeholders and cross-functional leadership across iOS, Mobile Web, and Desktop streamsInfluence product direction, roadmap planning, and engineering culture across the mobile organizationRequirements7+ years of experience in Android development2+ years of proven leadership experience, including managing or mentoring senior engineers and leadsDeep expertise in Java, App Components, and UI frameworks, with a track record of architecting large-scale Android applicationsMastery of Android developer tools and workflowsStrong command of Android Design Patterns, coding conventions,
