Position available for candidates based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, CABA, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza. At Avature, the Observability team builds and maintains the infrastructure that enables development teams to generate, collect, and analyze logs and metrics across our platform, providing observability services for the entire a Software Engineer on the Observability team, you will work on a hybrid role combining software development and Dev Ops practices. You will contribute to highly available observability systems while collaborating with teams across the company to improve monitoring, automation, and operational reliability.

Your challenges and objectives:

- Achieve a rounded knowledge of our platform by understanding the interaction between services, infrastructure, and development tools.
- Develop and maintain observability solutions with high availability, scalability, and performance in mind.
- Contribute to the evolution of the company’s observability infrastructure and internal tooling.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and anticipate future technical challenges.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve monitoring, metrics, and operational visibility.
- Promote automation and operational efficiency through development and Dev Ops practices.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotations and support processes.

Your day-to-day activities:

- Design and develop features and tools related to observability infrastructure and monitoring systems.
- Analyze existing systems and implement refactors to improve code quality and reliability.
- Work with technologies such as Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Kubernetes, Puppet, Terraform, AWS, PHP, and Python.




- Perform code reviews and collaborate with team members on technical solutions and best practices.
- Promote best practices throughout the development lifecycle, from technical analysis to production monitoring.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to support observability initiatives and operational needs.
- Contribute to workflow automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:

- Work experience in software development and Dev Ops.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Fluency in OOP programming languages, preferably PHP, Python.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops and infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, AWS, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with observability technologies such as Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or Open Telemetry is a plus.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments and participating in on-call rotations.
- Intermediate English level required.
