and reliability of datasetsPartner with internal stakeholders to refine requirements and optimize data workflowsRequired QualificationsExtensive hands‐on experience with Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, and notebook‐based development.Strong hands‐on experience with DBT and Analytics Data Modeling, including dimensional modeling concepts such as Facts, Dimensions, and Kimball methodologyProficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructureStrong proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and distributed data processingDemonstrated experience with cloud data engineering in enterprise settingsExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or Fabric‐aligned toolingWorking knowledge of legacy Microsoft data stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)Experience working with Oracle databases and associated data servicesAbility to develop scalable, secure ETL/ELT pipelines using best practicesStrong documentation, communication, and stakeholder‐management skillsNice‐to‐Have SkillsExperience migrating or modernizing legacy BI/data systemsBackground in data quality frameworks, testing, or monitoringFamiliarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or other Microsoft cloud analytics componentWho You AreYou are a senior‐level data engineer who excels in fast‐paced environmentsYou can work independently as a contractor without requiring heavy oversightYou are comfortable partnering with multiple stakeholder groups and adapting to shifting prioritiesYou bring a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and problem‐solvingEngagement DetailsIndependent contractor role35 to 40 hours per weekHourly rate: ***** USD to 25 USD, depending on experienceFully remote position#J-*****-Ljbffr
