**Job Description Summary**: The O Plant Manager is responsible for managing the operations and maintenance activities of the facility, ensuring adequate, reliable equipment and units are available to meet generation requirements in a safe and cost-effective manner to the Customer.

The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance site team ensuring adequate generating capacity and efficient utilization of the assets and resources necessary to maintenance and deliver power to the plant’s customers needs

**Essential Responsibilities**:
As Plant Manager, will report to the Service Director in the Region and:
Maintain care, custody, control and safe maintenance of the power plant.

Develops, implements, monitors and revises maintenance procedures with the site team to ensure plant equipment is maintained in a safe, compliant manner that enhances reliability.

Facilitates and coordinates proactive risk assessment and root-cause analysis of equipment failures and ensures corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Provide strong leadership and coaching for the site personnel.

Promote a proactive culture and a safe work environment

Ensure full regulatory compliance for environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Effectively manage the plant to optimize key performance indicators, including Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of the complete Power Plant (Covered Unit + BOP )

Develop and implement best practices and procedures for plant personnel to maintain the plant in a safe and effective manner.





Prepare detailed annual budget and effectively manage plant expenditures.

Lead Annual finance margin review and monthly cost and billing forecasts.

Effectively execute and fulfill the MYA + O contract requirements

Coordinate with the Americas O Support Team, GE Engineering and other O support team for the resolution of complex issues or initiatives relevant to the Power Plant.

Recruits, interviews and actively leads in the selection of maintenance staff.

Assures proper staffing, scheduling and training of all the site staff.

Lead Planned and Unplanned activities for Outages based on MYA/ O Contract T and GEV Planning Application.

Lead Maintenance parts purchases and repairs, and services required for planned and unplanned outages.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:
Engineering (Bachelor's) Degree in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in power plant management
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a power plant environment
Strong business and financial skills.
