Cloud Engineer is part of the Technical Team and reports directly to the Squad Leader.

The objective of the position is to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate

workloads, and pursue next-generation innovation.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.

Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and

infrastructure maintenance.

Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code

quality and thoughtful design.

Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.

Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud applications,
including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and

advanced analytics.

Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for cloud solutions,

including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.

Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement

preventive measures.

Design, build and manage highly secure, scalable and available architectures.

Configure cloud infrastructure components like networking and security services.





Create the applications and databases that perform on the cloud.

Monitor cloud management and data storage services.

Identify and define a new process and/or system improvement opportunities.

Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies.

Education

AWS Certifications( Associated level – professional preferred).

Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science (Preferred).

Experience

Experience in similar positions like SRE, Sys Admin, Cloud Engineer for at least 4 years.

Proficiency with any public cloud (AWS ) services and infrastructure.

Experience managing High Traffic infrastructure.

Experience managing mission critical infrastructure.

Experience managing microservices architecture.

Experience managing web applications.

Hard Skills

Terraform.

AWS Services.

Bash Scripting.

Docker.

Networking (TCP/IP, subneting).

Python.

Github/Bitbucket/ similar VCS’s.

Security best practice.

Soft Skills

Communication.

Change adaptive capacity.
