The Role:
TFS HealthScience, a leading general CRO, is looking for a Clinical Research Manager to join our specialized Ophthalmology team.
In this role, you will lead country and site management activities, ensuring high-quality clinical study execution and acting as the primary operational contact for our Sponsors.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee day‐to‐day clinical operations to ensure delivery according to protocols, ICH/GCP, and regulatory requirements.
Sponsor Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for Sponsors, managing expectations and providing strategic updates.
Team Management:
Lead, train, and support a team of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), including reviewing monitoring visit reports.
Performance Oversight:
Proactively monitor site performance, recruitment progress, data quality, and CTMS/TMF accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:




Partner with Project Managers on resource allocation, investigator payments, and revenue forecasting.
What You Need to Succeed (Deal-Breakers):
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of clinical monitoring experience within a CRO, Pharma, or Biotech environment.
Leadership:
At least 1 year of proven experience operating as a Clinical Research Manager (CRM).
Therapeutic Expertise:
1+ years of experience in Ophthalmology (ideally within retina indications such as DME, AMD, GA, RVO, or IRDs).
Languages:
Full professional fluency in both
Spanish and Portuguese
(Required).
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of ICH/GCP and clinical operations processes.
