Job Overview
The Cash Management Sales Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to the company's strategic direction.
Recognized as a technical authority, they maintain commercial awareness, develop communication and diplomacy skills, and guide, influence, and convince colleagues and external customers.
Their work involves complex deliverables that impact the overall performance and effectiveness of the organization.
Responsibilities
Actively call on clients in partnership with Relationship Managers to deepen relationships, proactively own, respond to, and anticipate future needs, challenges or risks, and identify and pursue new clients aligned with Citi's value proposition.
Drive innovation on solutions for clients while structuring deals to balance risk and reward.
Provide direct sales support to Treasury Consultants in covered markets.
Focus on revenue‐generating activities associated with the sale of Treasury Products and Services.
Prepare proposals, conduct pricing analysis, assist with RFPs and presentations, coordinate exception pricing, and handle data input for pipeline tracking.
Establish and maintain relationships with Treasury Consultants and Bankers; serve as strategic advisor to Relationship Managers and clients.
Address product‐sales related inquiries from Treasury Sales, Bankers, other internal partners and clients.
Share knowledge with other sales consultants and junior staff.
Execute strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies and guidelines at all times.
Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, safeguard the firm's reputation, and adhere to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 to 10 years of commercial banking experience.
Undergraduate business degree (Bachelor's; Master's preferred).
Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships.
Strong commercial awareness, communication, and diplomatic skills.
Must be able to write, read, and speak English fluently.
