About The Role
The Senior Permitting Specialist is part of Glencore Argentina’s Permitting team and plays a key role in the development of the MARA Project, ensuring the identification, management, and timely acquisition of environmental and sectoral permits required throughout the project lifecycle.





This role is critical to the project’s viability, ensuring that studies, technical reports, and environmental impact assessments comply with provincial and national regulations, as well as corporate standards, enabling the project to progress in line with the established schedule.

Requirements
- University degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
- Postgraduate studies in environmental management or regulatory compliance are desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in mining or large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in environmental impact assessment, preparation of technical reports, and permitting processes.
- Strong knowledge of environmental and mining regulations.
- Experience working with permitting management systems and project schedules.
- Fluent Spanish and intermediate English (desirable).
- Proficiency
