We’re looking for a Senior AI Developer who blends deep technical skill with strong product sense. Someone who loves understanding real customer problems, builds AI systems that directly improve user experiences, and thrives in a fast‑moving, fully remote team.

You’ll design and ship LLM‑powered agents, AI workflows, and intelligent automation that support mission‑critical healthcare operations.

What You’ll Do

- Create, develop, and manage AI‑driven features and systems focused on Generative AI, ensuring intelligent and production‑ready product experiences.
- Implement and embed AI functionalities such as large language models (LLMs), agents, embeddings, and inference pipelines within backend applications and services.
- Design AI process flows including prompt management, tool integration, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and dynamic model selection.
- Take full responsibility for the AI system lifecycle — from initial experimentation and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing refinement.
- Develop scalable APIs and services that provide AI capabilities securely and dependably to various product interfaces.
- Work collaboratively with product, backend engineering, and design teams to convert business challenges into impactful AI‑based solutions.
- Maintain high‑quality AI systems through rigorous evaluation, testing, observability, and performance tracking.
- Tackle AI‑specific challenges such as minimizing latency, optimizing costs, ensuring reliability, reducing hallucinations, and enforcing safety measures.
- Keep up‑to‑date with the latest AI models, tools, and best practices, applying them effectively to practical applications.




- Design and incorporate AI functionalities aligned with Generative AI into both product features and backend infrastructure.
- Construct and sustain AI workflows like prompt orchestration, retrieval augmentation, and agent‑driven execution to address genuine product needs.

What We’re Looking For

- Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years developing AI‑driven systems deployed in production environments.
- Extensive expertise in embedding large language models (LLMs), machine learning models, or AI services within backend architectures and applications.
- Deep knowledge of AI system design methodologies, such as retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), intelligent agents, prompt engineering, and workflow orchestration.
- Proven experience in creating and utilizing APIs tailored for AI‑enhanced services.
- Practical skills in assessing model quality, efficiency, and dependability under real‑world conditions.
- Proficient programming capabilities in at least one backend language like Python, Node.js, Java, or equivalents.
- Competence in evaluating and balancing trade‑offs among accuracy, response time, cost, and system complexity.
- Direct experience in developing AI‑based features leveraging contemporary AI models or frameworks focused on Generative AI.




- Strong grasp of the compromises involved in AI system design, including factors such as precision, latency, expense, and reliability.

Nice‑to‑Haves

- Hands‑on experience with training, fine‑tuning, or customizing machine learning models for deployment in production environments.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embedding methods, and techniques for semantic search.
- Understanding of AI safety protocols, governance frameworks, and ethical AI practices.
- Background working with multi‑modal AI technologies encompassing text, image, and speech data.
- Involvement in developing the Maple digital health platform.
- Expertise in creating healthcare‑specific AI functionalities with a focus on privacy, safety, and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA.
- Familiarity with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) methods and vector database integration to incorporate proprietary clinical and operational information.
