We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer (STE) to join a fast-paced engineering environment where quality, scalability, and platform reliability are core priorities.

In this role, you will design testing infrastructure and develop automated solutions to validate large-scale software systems and cloud deployments across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with software engineers throughout the development lifecycle, helping build robust testing strategies and tools that improve product quality and developer productivity.

This position goes beyond traditional QA responsibilities — the adecuado candidate will proactively identify risks, anticipate platform issues before they occur, and contribute to the modernization and acceleration of cloud-native delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities Include

This is a critical role with a wide range of responsibilities focused on platform stability and innovation:

● Agile Automation: Work within a highly collaborative and Agile methodology focused on developing automated tests within every iteration.

● Core Service Validation: Design test plans and lead testing efforts for distributed services ensuring high quality and performance standards are met across environments.

● Cross-Cloud Validation: Validate release candidates and infrastructure migrations across multiple cloud platforms with rigorous regression testing using CI/CD platforms.

● Performance & Reliability: Build and execute performance and load tests to verify engineering KPIs for high-traffic platform services.

● AI-Driven Quality:



Implement and optimize Java-based unified testing frameworks utilizing AI to support complex and extensive SDLC platforms.

● Test Strategy: Implement tools, infrastructure changes, and ad-hoc/exploratory tests to optimize test automation and testing techniques for cloud-native services.

Requirements:

Must Haves

● Advanced API Testing: Expertise in API Testing using Java-Based Frameworks (TestNG, Rest Assured, Maven) or modern equivalents.

● Automation Frameworks: 5+ years of experience in Java-based test frameworks (TestNG, Rest Assured, Maven) for API and performance testing.

● Multi-Cloud Experience: Significant knowledge of both AWS cloud platforms and GCP (Google Cloud Platform) for managing large-scale service deployments.

● Modern Tooling: Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) and scripting for validation tools.

Core Requirements

● 2+ years of experience leading testing on complex projects with minimal supervision.

● Deep familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Git Hub Actions.

● Proficiency in investigating platform health using Datadog, analyzing logs, and interpreting latency metrics (p90/p99).

● Performance testing experience using commercial or open-source tools such as JMeter.

● Experience with Node.js, Go (Golang), and Javascript-based services is highly preferred.

● Familiarity with MongoDB and Apache Kafka is a plus.

● Experience or strong interest in testing AI-governed SDLC tools.

● AVOD / Streaming media experience is strongly preferred.
