Trinetixis looking for a skilled NOC Engineer.Join our team and collaborate with a global leader in connectivity, operating one of the world's most reliable and extensive Internet backbones.With over 30 years of experience, this organization provides high-performance network infrastructure across more than 100 countries, supporting 2,900+ customers worldwide – including telecom operators, hyperscalers, cloud providers, and digital platforms.Its network spans thousands of kilometers of fiber, forming a critical part of the global Internet infrastructure and consistently ranking among the top-tier backbone providers worldwide.This is the kind of company that literally powers the Internet at scale.At Trinetix, we partner with this organization to support and enhance its operations through modern engineering, process optimization, and AI-driven solutions.Our teams work closely with global stakeholders, contributing to large-scale initiatives that improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and support business growth across international markets.Requirements3–5+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environmentStrong technical expertise in network troubleshooting across IP and/or transmission platformsSolid knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, xWDM technologiesCCNP Enterprise level knowledge (for IP-focused roles) or equivalent practical experienceHands‐on experience with network monitoring tools, incident handling,
and fault managementExperience working with Linux/Windows environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providersExperience in documenting incidents and maintaining clear technical reportingNice-to-havesExperience with scripting (Python, Bash, Perl)Telecom industry backgroundExperience configuring or improving NOC monitoring toolsExperience working in an international environmentCore ResponsibilitiesMonitor the network across IP and transmission platforms (including xWDM), as well as underlying infrastructure (sites, owned and leased fiber)Act on alarms indicating both service‐impacting and potential service‐impacting issuesInitiate and perform troubleshooting of faults and outages across relevant platformsResolve incidents at first line whenever possible, minimizing escalation to second‐level supportTake full ownership of incidents and drive them to resolution and restorationCollaborate with third‐party providers (hardware vendors, field support, network providers) during troubleshootingEnsure accurate and timely documentation during and after incident resolutionMaintain clear and structured communication with internal and external stakeholders during major incidentsTrack SLA commitments, follow up on progress,
