The Opportunity
This position works out of Buenos Aires/ Argentina.

Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott's diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
As an Informatics Technical Specialist (ITS), you'll focus on the end-to-end delivery of the AlinIQ Digital Health applications and on supporting Abbott's consumer healthcare strategy.
The role involves complex IT implementation, testing, training, and escalation management.
It is client-facing and requires excellent communication, critical thinking, project management, presentation skills, and soft skills to ensure high client satisfaction.
What You'll Do
Responsible for the end-to-end implementation, testing, and training of Abbott Digital applications, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.
Leverage technical IT and networking expertise to analyze user needs, gather customer requirements, and design integrated, scalable,



and comprehensive health informatics solutions that enhance automation for clinical diagnostic healthcare clients.
Maintain strong multitasking skills and coordinate across a complex network of stakeholders, including sales representatives, laboratory managers, project managers, IT teams, HIS/LIS personnel, internal and external vendors, contractors, and senior management as needed.
Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system, adhere to and promote the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate) of Computer Science, Information Systems, biomedical engineering, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines.
1 year of relevant healthcare or information technology experience preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership capability.
Demonstrated ability to learn and master new concepts.
