Execution Trader (ARS Local Currency & Global Bonds, Argentina)January 9, ****Workplace: OfficeReports to: Head of Fixed Income TradingPosition OverviewWe are expanding our Fixed Income team, the firm's newest division launched in ****, and are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Execution Trader to join our Buenos Aires office.
The idóneo candidate will have foundational knowledge of the Argentine fixed income market, with exposure to ARS local currency bonds, global bonds, and FX.
This role provides hands-on trading experience while supporting trade execution, market monitoring, strategy implementation, and senior traders.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in executing trades across ARS-denominated sovereign bonds, global bonds, and related FX positions.Monitor market flows, liquidity, and pricing to ensure accurate trade execution.Actively support senior traders in capturing market opportunities and implementing approved strategies.Track macroeconomic indicators, monetary policy updates, fiscal developments, and geopolitical events affecting the Argentine fixed income and FX markets.Prepare summaries of market developments and assist in trade reporting.Support monitoring of positions and risk exposures,



ensuring adherence to trade limits, compliance guidelines, and risk protocols.Assist in maintaining relationships with brokers, market makers, and counterparties.Contribute to the team's understanding of the local market environment.Qualifications & Requirements1–3 years of experience in trading, execution, or market support, ideally with ARS local currency bonds, global bonds, or FX markets.Strong understanding of the Argentine macroeconomic and political landscape, central bank policies, and debt markets.Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork skills; Spanish and English proficiency preferred.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; additional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.What We OfferHands-on trading experience within a collaborative, high-performance Fixed Income team.Exposure to both local currency and global bond markets, with mentorship from senior traders.Opportunity to contribute to proprietary trading strategies and gain a strong foundation in execution and market analysis.
