Your capacity to creatively strategize, motivate, and elicit achievement makes you the right fit for this vital Associate Business Manager role with Syneos Health PR Group.As an Associate Business Manager, you will support the Operations team in the day to day financial and operational management of the US Public Relations group.ResponsibilitiesSupport Sr.
Business Manager in the financial management of key anchor accountsMaintain weekly budget trackers and analyze KPIs to maximize revenue generation and prevent possible overages/write-offsIdentify potential time transfers and present findings/rationale to account leadershipLiaise between Project Financial Analysts (PFAs) and PR account teams to ensure key project financial activities are executed at the proper times: project approvals, time moves, invoice drafts and approvals, etc.Opportunity to become the main business manager on several growth accountsGuide account teams through the project life cycle — Own the project set-up process: document client approvals and proactively update the project status, allocate the budget on a task level based on the client SOW, and finalize client billing details to prepare for invoicingUpdate project budgets based on client contracting updates (change orders, new SOWs, etc.) to ensure revenue is forecasted and recognized in an accurate and timely mannerTrack task and project code end dates and work with account teams to extend when needed.
Proactively identify when projects should be closed to prevent budget overages and reconciliation issues.Develop ability to present data and communicate across a diverse set of stakeholders (account teams, operations management, finance management, PFAs, etc.),
keeping all relevant parties informed and accountable for changes and updatesOwn and manage investment tracking: work with account teams on investment and write-off requests, track documentation/approvals and flag potential overagesSupport the business and contract managers in the new client set-up processAssist account teams in vendor set-up and paymentQualificationsBachelor's degree, ideally in business: finance, operations or marketing1-2 years professional experience preferredBackground in project management preferredFlexible time management and ability to shift priorities as neededDetail oriented and excellent communications skillsProficient in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Oracle preferredKeen eye for process improvements and reporting efficienciesAbout Syneos HealthAt Syneos Health Public Relations, the possibilities are infinite.
