This is the jobWe are looking for a Middle Node.js engineer to join the fraud prevention team.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable backend services and APIs that support secure and reliable fraud prevention solutions.You'll work in a collaborative environment focused on modern backend development practices, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
Candidates located in or near Buenos Aires would be highly preferred for closer collaboration with the team.This is you3+ years of experience with JavaScript (Node.js and TypeScript).
Hands-on experience with REST API development and integration.Experience building and maintaining microservices.Knowledge of unit testing practices and frameworks.Advanced Spanish communication skills.Nice-to-have skills:Knowledge of event-driven architecture.Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge,



and Step Functions.Experience with the Serverless Framework.Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.This is your roleDevelop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.Build and consume REST APIs.Design and implement microservices-based solutions.Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.Participate in technical discussions and contribute to backend architecture decisions.Support the continuous improvement of fraud prevention systems and processes.At Avenga, everyone matters.
