The Role
The ideal candidate for the Solutions Architect position will have a deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, and general knowledge of Data 360 and CRM, and the ability to offer best-in-class consulting to Devs United's clients.
As the project solutions lead to the client, the Solutions Architect is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements for the project team and execution of tasks related to configuration, development, and validation.
They ensure the quality and integrity of the overall solution throughout the project lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct design, discovery and technical walkthroughs with your assigned clients
Develop and conduct custom training sessions for assigned clients where applicable
Lead project delivery in close partnership with the Project Manager and Account Manager, ensuring execution aligns with scope, timelines, and client expectations
Provide solution and strategy direction across the project lifecycle
Prepare technical / functional documentation
Estimate complexity and effort for high-impact tasks and projects
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies during design and development phases
Collaborate with Technical Architects to ensure alignment between technical implementation and business/solution design




Support troubleshooting of high-complexity defects and production issues
Participate in pre-sales efforts by providing solution feasibility, architecture input, and scoping support when required
Mentor solutions specialists, provide coaching, and promote continuous improvement within the practice
Skills and Qualifications
Experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement
Experience with Salesforce Sales (CRM), Agentforce and/or Service Cloud is a plus
Experience using LucidChart or a similar tool to create diagrams
Participation in projects using Project Management Methodologies such as Lean, Agile, Waterfall
Experience in creating detailed requirements and functional specifications documents
Experience in identifying scope changes
Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, especially in complex scenarios
Promote collaborative teamwork with your peers and clients
Keep a positive attitude and commitment towards your work
Strong willingness to learn and continuously improve
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of related experience in Salesforce or 7-9 years in MarTech environments.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Salesforce certification Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Admin, Agentforce Specialist and/or Data 360 Consultant is a plus
Experience designing and delivering complex multi-cloud Salesforce implementations is a plus
Strong experience in agency, multi-client, or consulting delivery environments
