Cloud Storage Service Site Reliability Engineer
Responsabilities:
Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the cloud storage service field in the Latin American region, as a second-line support to handle demand changes, customer incident tickets and alarm tickets.
Responsible for the active operation and maintenance of a single cloud service field, including SLO construction, process optimization, capacity management, standardized transformation, disaster recovery construction, daily drills, etc., by developing corresponding automated plug-ins on the tool platform to optimize operation and maintenance efficiency and availability.
Education background:
Degree in Computer Science or related fields, bachelor's degree or higher
Work experience (in years):
2 Years or more
Professional knowledge
General skills of the operating system: Familiar with the daily operation and maintenance of the operating system, master the troubleshooting and handling of common operating system problems, experience in using shell/python for automated operation and maintenance is preferred; 2.General troubleshooting skills: System Log analysis, Packages catch and Analysis, Traffic analysis, Monitor design and optimize
Be familiar with the basic architectures and principles of object storage, block storage, and file storage.




Have general knowledge of solutions of various storage systems,like Cross-region replication, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and etc.
Have a basic command of the distributed storage system architecture and common O&M; methods of the distributed system.
Be familiar with the overall OpenStack architecture and Cinder-related HA design methods.
Be familiar with volume management software (LVM, vxvm, etc.) and common FS(EXT3, XFS and etc.).
Skill appraisal:
Have experience in cloud, ICT, or Internet O&M; or product development, and be able to analyze and solve problems.
Have good team spirit and communication awareness, strong sense of responsibility Excellent service attitude for customer, Complex problem analysis and careful work.
Experience in O&M; optimization, process optimization, disaster recovery, quick recovery, and monitoring alarm optimization is preferred.
A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Professional certifications from third parties
AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certification or other related certificates.
Language:
Proficient in English and can use it as a working language.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English.
