CBM360TIV is seeking a skilled Load Test Engineer to perform load testing and certification of lifting equipment used in oil & gas operations in Comodoro Rivadavia.

The role focuses on ensuring equipment safety, structural integrity, and compliance with international testing standards.

Reporting To

Operations Manager / Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct load testing and inspection of cranes, lifting equipment, hoists, and rigging systems
- Ensure compliance with international safety and engineering standards
- Prepare test reports, certification documentation, and inspection records
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams during equipment testing and verification
- Identify structural issues or equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate testing logs and technical documentation

Education & Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline
- Certification in lifting equipment inspection or load testing is advantageous

Experience





- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in load testing, lifting equipment inspection, or mechanical testing, preferably within oil & gas or heavy industrial sectors

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of load testing procedures, lifting equipment standards, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with inspection tools, hydraulic testing systems, and measurement instruments
- Understanding of international lifting and rigging safety standards

Languages

- English (professional working proficiency required)
- Spanish is highly desirable for local operational communication
