Associate Veterinarian

Location: Santa Fe, NM

We are a small, family‑style, one‑doctor practice dedicated to serving our community.

The practice will grow with the addition of a new Associate Veterinarian who will collaborate with our skilled tech team and contribute to patient care.

The position offers mentorship, leadership and growth opportunities, no on‑call duties, student loan repayment and pet discounts.

Responsibilities

- Provide clinical veterinary services for patients, including internal medicine, dentistry, soft‑tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging, and cytology.

- Participate in patient treatment planning and case discussions with Dr. Mark Terry.

- Apply state‑of‑the‑art anesthesia and pain management protocols.

- Utilize advanced laboratory, imaging (ultrasonography, full‑body radiography) and dental equipment.

- Ensure adherence to clinic protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

- Recent graduate or experienced veterinarian interested in internal medicine, dentistry, and soft‑tissue surgery.

- Strong clinical skills with experience or interest in diagnostic imaging and cytology.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work within a flexible, four‑day work week schedule.

- Ultrasonographer available for in‑clinic procedures.

- Digital dental and full‑body radiograph equipment.

- In‑house ultrasound (B&W;) for cystocenteses and FAST scans.
