As an Analytics Engineer on our Care Analytics team, you will own the data infrastructure that powers Sovos' general support analytics function — designing and maintaining our Snowflake warehouse, partnering with ops to scope and ship the right solutions, and leading data workstreams across 3–4 CRM backend migrations.

This is a high-ownership role with direct visibility to leadership.

What You Will Do
More specifically, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data models, pipelines, and warehouse objects (DDL, DML, DQL)
- Own delta pipelines, MERGE tasks, and incremental load strategies end to end
- Partner with ops stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into scoped, buildable solutions
- Lead data engineering workstreams across 3–4 CRM backend migrations
- Maintain data integrity, documentation, and the team data catalogue




- Write and maintain Python scripts for pipeline automation, data wrangling, and transformation
- Collaborate with the BI and ML analyst to ensure downstream data quality and consistency

What We Need From You
- 3–5 years in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
- Expert-level SQL — DDL, DML, and DQL with strong schema design instincts
- Hands‑on Snowflake experience (tasks, streams, MERGE, clustering)
- Python proficiency for pipeline automation and data wrangling
- Experience with CRM data structures and migration patterns
- Comfort working cross‑functionally with non‑technical ops stakeholders
- Strong data integrity mindset — you validate end to end before shipping
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire
