We are looking for aSoftware Engineer II/III (Backend Focus)to join our client's Social Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and scaling high-load backend systems that processbillions of transactions per day.This is a direct-hire role within a global engineering organization of900+ people, collaborating with teams in theUS, Israel, and the UK. You will work on end-to-end development, modern architectures, microservices, cloud environments, and large-scale performance challenges.The Social team works primarily withPython and its modern ecosystem, building mission-critical systems across Innovid's integral ad-tech platform.ResponsibilitiesDesign and developcritical backend services, infrastructure components, APIs, and core modules.Build and maintainmicroservices on AWS, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and high availability.Develop systems capable of supportingbillions of daily transactionsin distributed environments.Ensure production readiness, includingperformance, observability, stability, and incident ownership.Lead software design efforts and contribute to architectural decisions.Participate inend-to-end development: design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering Managers, and cross-functional R&D; teams.Influence engineering standards, best practices, and overall technical excellence.Mentor teammates and contribute to a developer-centric culture of quality and ownership.Education & LanguageAdvanced student or graduate inComputer Science, Software Engineering,
