Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Jr. Analyst, GSS Billing to join our team at WHR Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Role
This role will be part of Global Shared Services based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Billing Jr analyst will:
- Support the billing function by assisting with accurate and timely billing activities for hotel and franchise operations.
- Perform routine billing tasks, revenue validations, and data maintenance under established procedures and supervision.
- Help ensure billing accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Partner with Billing Analysts and cross‑functional teams (AR, Collections, Cash Application) to resolve basic billing issues and prevent downstream defects.
What you’ll do
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of franchise billing and royalty rate data, and support the review of franchise revenue reports.
- Support daily revenue loads, routine corrections, and billing validations following standard operating procedures.
- Identify and support cases requiring manual billing by gathering data, calculating billing amounts under guidance, and entering transactions in Oracle AR.
- Assist in generating system based monthly accruals and support preparation of billing or accrual adjustments for predefined scenarios.
- Receive, log, and classify billing inquiries, validate basic information, and route cases to the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Collect, organize, and store billing and inquiry documentation in compliance with audit, internal control, and retention requirements.
- Support collaboration with AR, Collections, Cash Application, and IT teams by tracking billing issues and follow up actions.
- Maintain and update basic property account information (transfers, amendments, terminations, openings) and billing relevant attributes under supervision.
- Assist with SOX control support, reporting preparation, and documentation, and participate in system updates, UAT testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll be successful if you have
- Basic understanding of billing processes, revenue concepts, and accrual fundamentals.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle AR preferred) or willingness to learn billing applications and workflows.
- Ability to follow defined procedures, approval workflows, and documentation standards.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete records.
- Basic analytical skills to validate data and identify discrepancies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage routine tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a structured environment.
- Willingness to learn complex billing scenarios and grow within the O2C function.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to support cross regional operations.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Student or completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 0–2+ years of experience in Billing, Order to Cash, and Accounts Receivable.
- Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle AR preferred),
ticketing systems, or CRM tools and working in Shared Services Environments is a plus.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
