JOB LOCATION: Argentina
START DATE: IMMEDIATE
PAY: $700 / day + Expenses
Employment Type: P/T Contractor
Employer is a US-based private security firm seeking experienced Covert Protection Agents who have prior experience as a solo EP practitioner or as a member of a small AMCIT / LN detail and with prior protective security experience in Argentina . The selected agents will be providing covert counter surveillance and close protection support to an American CEO + staff members during regular business travel in Argentina. The contract duration and frequency is based on the Client’s travel to Argentina which occurs several times annually for 5 to 10 days in duration. Because of the sporadic rotation, candidates who already reside in Argentina (or regularly travel to Argentina) and meet all other minimum and preferred qualifications in the sections below will be prioritized for consideration in the selection process.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Travel to Argentina to perform covert protection operations
– Perform mobile and static low-profile / covert protection and counter surveillance
– Conduct advance work and and report on gathered intelligence
– Operate as team lead or assistant team lead of at least one other AMCIT and multiple LN’s
– Practice OPSEC and COMSEC with sensitive and confidential material
– Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
– Flex and adapt as needed based on client needs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting these minimum qualification requirements) :
– Prior SOF with experience operating in Argentina and/or other countries in Central America
– Must have executive protection (EP) experience in a solo practitioner capacity
– Candidate must have 5+ years combined experience from either military and/or law enforcement as well as experience in protective operations
– Fluent or conversational in Spanish
– Physically fit and able to blend into the native environment of Argentina
– Pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges)
– Pass pre-employment drug screening and periodic, random drug screenings throughout employment
– Possess a valid, current Passport
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Prior US Army 18-series in 7th or 20th SFG or other former SOF with extensive operational background in South America
– Candidates who meet all minimum qualifications and also currently reside in (or regularly travel to) Argentina
– Candidates who have experience working as part of a mixed nationality protection detail
– Experience with secure communications and tracking equipment
– Candidates who have connections from local police, military, government,
and or private security forces
– Candidates that possess active EMT certifications and/or attended an 18D course are highly desired
