SOVOS is seeking a Renewals Specialist to join our newly created Renewals organization. The idóneo candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing renewals for SaaS customer accounts, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role.

Job Responsibilities

Develop Internal and External Relationships:

- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within our Customers
- Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success to build comprehensive account plans
- Implement industry best practices to enhance the overall customer experience during renewal

Drive Renewal Upsell Opportunities:

- Proactively identify and capitalize on renewal upsell opportunities within assigned territories

Manage Negotiations and Account Issues:

- Lead negotiations with customers to ensure successful renewals
- Partner with stakeholders to resolve any account issues impacting renewal

Provide Operational Excellence:

- Ensure operational excellence throughout the renewal process
- Maintain tactical awareness and address any challenges promptly

Forecasting and Delivery:

- Maintain predictability in forecasting and delivering against targets
- Strive to exceed expectations in all aspects of renewal management

Proficiency in Learning and Adaptation:





- Demonstrate proficiency in learning new systems
- Navigate through change effectively and quickly ramp up on new product offerings

Organizational Alignment

Reports to Manager/Director, Renewals

Qualifications

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in renewals management or account management in the software industry, specifically focusing on SaaS solutions and services

Proven track record of achieving sales or renewal quotas, particularly for SaaS Renewals

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and Salesforce CRM is a plus

Customer Focus:

Experience advocating for clients while ensuring company policies are upheld

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

Problem-Solving:

Effective at handling difficult situations and resolving issues promptly and effectively

Stakeholder Management:

Experience balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders within tight timelines and resource constraints

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

Minimal (less than 25%) travel required both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events

Utilize technology (e.g., phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements
