**REQUIREMENTS**:
**General Requirements - Cruise Ship Employment**:

- Minimum **21 years old** (depends on cruise line & position)
- **Previous experience at least 1 year** in hospitality, service, culinary, sales, wellness, or related fields
- Strong **customer service mindset** (cruise life = people, all day, every day)
- Ability to work in a **multicultural, fast-paced environment**:

- Physically and mentally fit to work long hours onboard

**Language Skills**:

- **Intermediate to advanced English** (mandatory)
- Additional languages are a plus (not required)

**Documentation (mandatory)**:

- **Valid passport** (minimum 12-18 months validity, depending on cruise line)
- Ability to obtain:

- Seafarer medical certificate
- Required visas (C1/D, Schengen, etc. - varies by nationality & cruise line)
- Maritime or safety certificates (STCW, where applicable)

Many are **partially or fully reimbursed onboard**, depending on the cruise line

**Availability & Commitment**:

- Availability to work **6-8 months onboard**:

- Willingness to live and work **full-time at sea**:

- Flexibility to embark on assigned dates
